Stu Oakley, having worked on some of the biggest film franchises in history including Star Wars, Avengers, Harry Potter, Frozen and Jurassic World, has recently launched publicity collective and mentorship platfrom, ASSEMBLE PUBLICITY


During his tenure leading the UK publicity team at The Walt Disney Studios, Stu directed campaigns for four of the top ten films of all time at the UK box office including the most successful of all time, Star Wars: The Force Awakens.


Stu led the team across its key studio brands including Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm and Pixar, producing award-winning campaigns, premieres and event activations for films such as Avengers: Endgame, Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Black Panther, Guardians of the Galaxy, Inside Out and most recently Frozen 2 and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.


Before his time at Disney Stu worked on a number of Harry Potter projects including campaigns for the final three films, the launch of the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter, the opening of Warner Bros. Leavesden Studios and the personal publicity management for Daniel Radcliffe. Stu has also had the pleasure of working on campaigns and events for studios and distributors such as Universal Pictures, Paramount Pictures, StudioCanal and Lionsgate.

Stu most recently worked on the unit publicity for Jurassic World: Dominion and is currently looking after unit publicity on Slow Horses for Apple TV+ and See-Saw Films.
